a little fundraiser for a big cause

To end off our week here, I wanted to give out a shout to eighteen25 for putting together a raffle for this family:

Meet the Grimshaw's.

The father of this family has stage 4 cancer. It is called epitheliod sarcoma cancer.  He is one of 8 people in 15 years that has been diagnosed with this type of cancer.  Because of this, there isn't a lot of research available, and treatments are all experimental. Unfortunately because it is "experimental" it is not covered by their insurance.  But it is his only hope.

Right now, eighteen 25 has a raffle going on where 100% of the proceeds will go to help the Grimshaw family.  A $10 ticket will get you in the running for a $400 prize.  If you can (we all know how tough the economy is right now) will you go and donate for this sweet little family?

If you are local here in Las Vegas, there will also be a BIG bake sale going on tomorrow to support the Grimshaws as well.

Head over to Eighteen25 to see the supporters and donations going in to the raffles and to donate to this great cause.

Hope your weekend is filled with much fun and patriotism as we celebrate our country and the freedoms we enjoy. Thanks for stopping by this week.

ps. if you ever wanted to know a little more about me (haha)..check out Whipperberry..I love them and all they do! Thanks, Heather!:)
