some lovely inspiration.

Do you ever have an itch to just start something new? I am certainly a person who never does one thing for too long. Maybe that is why I have never mastered ONE thing, but have a passion and love for doing a lot of things.  This morning as I was perusing blogs, I came across an illustrator I have loved for awhile, and who just came out with her first line of fabric for Michael Miller.

Have you heard of Sarah Jane?  You will have to head over to her blog and check out her booth at the Quilt Market...so sweet.  I can't wait to get my hands on some of her new fabric.

While I was looking through Sarah's blog, she mentioned some of her friends who helped her sew up samples at the last minute...and wow! Has she got some talented friends..who all have charming blogs as well:

Diary of a Quilter..her blog is full of all kinds of happy things. Her quilts are to DIE for!

From Sarah's blog, I also found Homemade Happy. One of the most positive, happy, talent-filled and inspiring blogs I have read in awhile.  I am in love with these Velveteen Capes she  made for her daughters...but even better...look at the insides of them:

And as I was looking through old projects that I put on my to do list..this one kept coming up:

These bracelets look so simple to put together..and that color combo up there...LOVE IT!

Looks like I need to go get my fabric out and start sewing!  Do you have any sewing/fabric projects going on right now?

I am just learning to sew as we speak. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be a requires a lot of patience. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it and am excited to learn a new skill :)

I recently re did my bathroom and could not find a curtain that would go with the new decor, so I made my own! Check it out!

Awww, thanks so much for the nice comments! You are right - I think that Sarah Jane is so talented. It was fun to see her booth come together and she seemed to have a lot of great buzz at Market. That fabric is so awesome!
