A little about ME and a new free print!

A few months ago, one of my friends had this wild idea. It would involve getting 12 kids watched, 5 husbands schedules worked around, and 5 ladies all together in the same place. Pretty impossible, right?! BUT it happened. And it was amazing. I've realized that I love to share A LOT of projects on here..but some may not even know who I am..so every once in awhile I will share a little of my life with you.
Other than my husband and my family, these are my very best friends (minus one..she had already headed back home!) We all lived within 5 minutes of each other in Columbus, Ohio for quite a few years and became those kind of friends you do everything with...Go to parks, Easter Egg Hunts, laugh with, cry with, help out in crazy situations, have Thanksgivings with, cheer with (when our husbands finally graduated)...you get the idea.  We have certainly been through a lot together..so before I left to see my sweet friends for a Girls Weekend, I made a up a little print that I thought certainly fit our circumstances in our own little unique way.

Life is not always easy, right?! I can tell you though that with the help of family, friends and a LOVING God...

and it is GOOD to see that reminder in my home as the days are sometimes long and the struggles and trials I go through are difficult. (a little positive self-talk is ALWAYS helpful!):)

One of my friends put hers in her room as soon as she got home:

Would you like one? or all 8?  This is an 8x10 jpg file. Feel free to take one or all eight.  These free prints are for FOLLOWERS of Kiki Creates ONLY! (It just takes a second over on the sidebar!) Simply click on the print you want, then right click and save/print..whatever you please!

Who will you give one to?

And come back tomorrow for a HUGE HUGE sale.  As is BIG prints!  I'm excited.

Yay for Cbus! That's where my hubby went to school too! I bet we know a lot of the same people! (Which doesn't mean much since you don't know me...)

Cute print! Thanks!!

Oh I just love you Kiki. I love the print and I think you are absolutely perfect, kind AND social. Remember how important the social one is. You really are the best.

This print could not have come at a better time. My husband just got called (asked) to take a time-consuming position in our church two weeks ago and it's been an adjustment having him gone so much. Thank you so much for this print Kiki!

I love this! I tell my 4-year old "You can do hard things" all the time in response to his excuse of "It's too hard." I'll never forget the day he looked at me and said "It's ok, Mama. You can do hard things. You're a strong girl!" I may just have one of these prints in each of my kids' rooms one day. Thanks for sharing!

This was inspired! I found your blog a few weeks ago and was impressed with your prints. We just moved and with three little kids (oldest is 4, youngest is 5 months) everything seems so hard. I was going to request that you make a print with the gist of this one. And now I don't have to ask you. Thank you so much! As we say in our family, "You saved the day!"

What fun! I'm going to my last girls/crafting weekend before we *move* to Ohio. So excited! That girl on the far left looks so familiar to me...maybe from BYU? If she studied Elementary Education between 2002-2004 then that could be a girl I had classes with. If not, well, then she LOOKS just like someone I had classes with!:)

This is one of my favorite mantras (that I adopted from one of my fav. byu professors) so thanks for putting it together all nice and pretty.
Also, it is crazy to me the connections people have in mormon-ville and blog land. Annie is one of my old roomies at byu...I love her!

Ok. How are you reading my mind!? I did a post a few weeks ago? And I am using the theme for my leson in a few weeks. My mission president taught me this principle and I think about it all the time. Thank you for a great post and for sharing a little bit about you

Thanks so much! This saying got me through a failed adoption! I used to wear a little silver charm that had this stamped on it.

Kiki, Thank you. I sit here in the hospital with a sick 3 month old tonight. We've been here for a week. She has a respiratory infection and was born with a heart defect and those two powers combined have left us in the hospital for the last week. She is doing well but after a 4 week NICU stay, and 2 months later a week long hospital stay plus open heart surgery in the fall (all with a 2 year at home too), life has been hard. Needless to say, seeing a printable that said "I can do hard things" is exactly what I could use in my house these days.
