Spring inspiration

I am so happy spring is coming up for so many reasons but one of the biggest is the influx of color that nature brings with it.  This week I have been so inspired with flowers everywhere, so to begin the week with some fun eye candy inspiration here are a few of my favs out there:

1. Sania necklace 2. Princess Lasertron 3. Paper flower bouquet

4. wild dream 5. rustic wood flowers 6. Secret Garden paper roses necklace

7.felt garland 8. wreath 9.peony necklace

10.The Breakfast at TIffany's flower bouquet 11. paint chip wreath

Are they not so beautiful? I ran across Princess Lasertron awhile ago and just drool over her bouquets every time I see them!

Have you heard of Design seeds? I'm sure you have, but I LOVE seeing all the color combinations she comes up with. You should definitely check that one out. She buys photographs, manipulates them until she likes them and then takes the colors out to make color combinations. Love these flower ones.

How/Where would you use yours?! a LARGE print giveaway.

So I introduced my new print the other day...

I thought I'd share a two of my ideas in displaying and using the print. THEN I want your ideas.

SO first, of course you can hang it anywhere. One of my kids is not always happy when they wake up..

but they were today and it made me happy:

(Call it a little love note for the wall)

I have been a LONG time fan of Becky Higgins. How about her awesome Project Life?  So for a picture of the day idea..use the print to tell a story:

My daughter had a bad fall at the park 3 days ago, but is still the happiest little thing ever. Now I can remember her first black eye..and how happy she was despite it.

You can also write the date and any other info right on the frame to make it easy to remember.  This would work for all you scrapbookers as well...or just a fun photo accessory.:)

So how about you?! Where/how would you hang/display your print? What would you say?

I had an extra 18"x24" I LOVE YOU BECAUSE printed just for you!  Do you want to win it?

Quick Kid Idea: Pasta ABC

I am always on the lookout for fun learning games to play with my kids. Each of my kids have always LOVED the letters of the alphabet.  We had "S" day at preschool the other day, so I thought using spaghetti DEFINITELY qualified for the day.

We like to call this:

all it takes is a little bit of this cooked up:

a little bit of hard work:

and you get the end result:

Of course it is always nice when they can snack along the way!

Enjoy some time with your little kiddos today.:)
