a sweet bow and flower pillow.

I had such a great time creating yesterday. Do you ever have moments like that where you just feel super happy while creating? I love those moments!  Well, while on vacation, my mom and sister and I ran to IKEA for a bit of fun shopping (why don't they have an IKEA in Las Vegas..it's about time, that's all I'm saying!).  While there I picked up some fun fabric and had a great time making some new pillows today.

I picked up these fabrics:

...and I have been having a fun time playing with them.

Check out these fun pillows I made today with two of the fabrics:

a bow pillow:

I LOVE this green and white material..so fun and graphic.

and an up close of the bow:
and a flower pillow:

yummy..all that ruffly goodness:

They are super easy to recreate and the best part is that the tutorial to make the main focus of both of these is already on my blog!

So fun when you can use simple patterns on all sorts of things!

Are you all decorated for fall in your house? Any fun things you have made?

I love the ruffle pillow and checked out the hair version, but can you give a few tips on the size and fabric measurements that you used? I also assume you sewed this, not glued it... Thanks for any help as I really want to try one of these!

I love this ruffle pillow and saw the hair version, but was wondering if you could leave some tips on the fabric measurements you used? I assume this pillow was sewn, not glued as well. I really want to try one of these, so any tips would be appreciated!

Those pillows are adorable. And I LOVE the fabric! So much that I immediately got my friend in Dallas to go pick up 5 yards of it for me so I can make curtains out of that beautiful stripe. I'm so excited to have seen it here!

Oh my word!!! That flower one! That is amazing. I REALLY want one. I love the stripe too. But the flower one and I are planning on running away together. :)
