My parents came in over the weekend to visit and my mom let me know that the casual purse I had given her was about to bust out from overusage. So we made plans to go to the store and find a new "casual and funky" (this is what she wanted) purse, but as we were at the store couldn't find something that she liked. So we came home and I dug through my clearance finds..and found this:
certainly fits the bill for "casual and funky"..but maybe a bit too plain..
So off to the fabric stash I went and a quick little bit later came up with this:
SHE LOVED IT..i love it..and now I need to go find MYSELF a casual and funky purse.:)

Love! What is at the center of the rosettes? beads? hot glued or sewn? I love the "shag carpet" flowers. At least they look like shag. : ) Thanks for the beautiful idea!!
