I had a grandmother while growing up who could grow anything. She was especially fond of flowers and had every kind of flower that you can imagine growing around her yard. I can distinctly remember the smell. It was heaven walking from the road to her home and taking in the sweet smells of her labor. For all who have the amazing talent of having a green thumb, she too had the gift of patience and loved to work hard everyday because she knew what the fruits of her labor would produce. She was just as great of a grandmother, one who I have missed everyday since she passed. February was her birth month and in her memory, today's print is in honor of her and her love of gardening. I am LOVING the warmer weather of spring and thought that bringing it inside would be so fun as well.
Go ahead and take one, or all six! Let me know in the comments when you take one, which one you will put in your home..or give away to a friend who needs some "spring" in their life. I love hearing from you!

i picked the 3rd one! I can't wait to print it! The green matches my living room walls and mustard is one of my new favorite colors!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
so nice of you to share for free.... after having been un- employed for a while it was so hard getting caught up again. And spending money on extra's just was not in the budget. Then looking at these prints, and enjoying them with no guilt is awesome. Thank you
ReplyDelete1st one! Thank you Kiki, all month I have been thinking of my grandpa who passed a year ago, and had the PERFECT green thumb. All of us grandchildren love and miss his garden the most, days of picking, wandering around with buckets, and sitting in the shade of the Holly Hocks making dolls with toothpicks... thank you!
ReplyDeleteUsing 1, 3, 4, & 5. Thanks so much these are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAll right, I'll be the first one to take all 6 :) I have some sisters and ladies at church who I know will love some cheery prints right about now. Thank you SO much for sharing, these are gorgeous and I can't wait to print them!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in the first one! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing. I love them. The 3rd one is my favorite, but I took all of them because I want to share your beautiful talent with others.
ReplyDeleteUm.... I can't decide!!! I love the word on it, it reminds me of the quote I heard often growing up (from my Grandmother who was a gardener as well) BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED.
ReplyDeleteLove this print and more generally just loving your blog. Great and inspiring ideas!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kiki. My Grandma passed away last month and she also loved flowers. This poster (#4) will be printed and hung in her loving memory! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThis should come as no surprise...I can't decide! Thankfully, I don't have to! Kiki, what do you find is the best way to print them (i.e., home printer vs. sending them to a printing lab; on photo paper or cardstock; glossy vs. matte). What do you suggest?
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous print :)
ReplyDeleteMy Grandparents had amazing green thumbs which sadly I did not inherit.

I picked the first one. Love the blue! Oh and you could have been talking about my grandmother!! She loved flowers and could grow anything! Also, she could do anything she decided to do from building to oil painting. AND her birthday was in February. So thank you for reminding me of some wonderful moments.
