Projects in Progress

I am going to start a new series on here to showcase some of my projects while I am actually working on them. Sometimes I go to blogs and I can't help but think..how on earth could I ever do that..it is just too perfect to see the finished result without all of the other steps that led up to it!

I am going to call this series:

Today I have two projects to show you..

Number one is a blanket I am making for my little girls bed. I took it to a church activity last night to show the girls I work with how to tie a quilt (one of them commented, "Oh, I have totally seen my grandma do this!")..yep, I like to do grandmotherly things.:) Now I cannot wait to add the details..this one is not stressing me out though..I have 3 weeks to finish it up..that is like an eternity in blog years, right?!
The second project is a work in progress also for my little girl (don't worry, I will get to the boy projects soon!) This is a snippet of a playhouse for her Littlest Pet Shop toys.  I'm loving it so far..just have a lot of detail work to do. Fingers crossed to have it done by Friday.:)
and that is it for today! What are you working on right now? Halloween, sewing, projects? I want to hear!

What a fun idea to share projects in progress. The quilt looks amazing! I love all the fabrics and colors. That little house for her toys is adorable! I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I've been working on organizing around here. I also need to update my mantle with some fall decorations.

I am just loving that dollhouse. Load it up with animals from 99 cent only store. Haha. Oh and another project you have in progress: emailing your friend and telling her when you can come to dinner!

I love that littlest petshop playhouse, but I thought at first that it was a border for the inside of a crib (which would be super cute!!) Thanks for sharing. And I'm working on my niece's birthday party at the moment--a kitchy-kitchen party.

That's a great idea to show off your UFOs :o) I have about a million projects laying unfinished all over the place.
Your quilt looks gorgeous! My cousins are always pointing out the grandmotherly (sometimes GREAT-grandmotherly) things I do. Cracks me up.
